Ruben Amorim is set to more than triple his wages if he leaves Sporting to take charge of Manchester United.
According to talkSPORT, Amorim banks £2.15million per year in Portugal, which is equivalent to just over £40,000 a week.
But when the 39-year-old and his representatives held talks over the West Ham job during the summer, he is said to have demanded a £7m-a-year salary worth more than £130,000 a week.
The report adds that Amorim is likely to command an even higher wage at United, given the resources they have at their disposal compared to the Hammers.
Ten Hag is said to have picked up £6.75m per year during his time at the club.
