“I thought it was very easy to score,” says Shane McGuigan on Sky Sports as he reflects on Johnny Fisher’s controversial victory over Dave Allen.
“The close rounds when you’re leaning towards the guy that’s selling five-thousand, six-thousand tickets, sometimes those are the decisions that you sway towards that fighter.
“I would be very, very, very disappointed if I was in Dave Allen’s corner.”
Fellow commentator Matthew Macklin adds: “The direction the fight was going was all Dave Allen.
“It was getting more painful and it was looking more likely that Fisher was going to get knocked out.
“I thought it was strange, the last round from Dave Allen, unless he was completely exhausted or he thought he’d done enough and had already won it.”
