Oliver Bearman has his own ‘little itinerary’ planed for him and his girlfriend in the days following this weekend’s Australian Grand Prix.
Bearman will be joined by family in Melbourne to mark his full-time debut, having deputised for Ferrari once and Haas twice last season.
The Chelmsford-born talent also wants to stick around for a couple of days to show his girlfriend the sights.
“My whole family will be coming,” he told The Sun. “It was meant to be my first race but, of course, it wasn’t in the end! However, it’s still a special moment for everyone involved. I am really excited to be in Australia.
“They have amazing brunches by the beach in Melbourne. I know a few places, my girlfriend is coming and I really want to take her to some of those — I have my little itinerary planned!
“She’s staying until Tuesday, we have a few days to enjoy it after the race and that’s the benefit of the job, travelling to these amazing places.”
